Brits flocking to Australia for the Ashes – A Guide to the Ashes cities
As the Ashes are due to start at the end of November, many Brits are making preparations to head Down Under to catch England play against long-time cricket rivals Australia.
This is the first time that the Ashes have been played twice in one year. Usually series are held approximately every two years, but this new one-of change in schedule will ensure that the Ashes will not fall before the Cricket World Cup, which will take the pressure off of the cricket teams’ schedules.
